BRIAN THOMPSON

Brian is passionate about sharing what he has learned and helping others to pursue illustration and entertainment design as viable and fulfilling careers.  His philosophy on art instruction is rooted in creative problem solving which focuses on how to think and see, just as much as how to draw.  Brian takes a foundational approach helping students learn basics of structural drawing and visual communication then building upon those ideas getting into narrative and visual storytelling through framing and composition, color and shape design more.

Brian has given talks at many schools including Ringling College of Art and Design, Savannah College of Art and Design, Shoreline College, as well as various elementary schools.
