Brian Thompson is an award winning illustrator and art director. ​His work spans commercial illustration, video game art direction, visual development and book cover illustration. Brian's work has appeared in Spectrum, Wired Magazine, The Original Art Show /Society of Illustrators, and Into the Pixel and he has illustrated over a dozen YA book covers for clients such as Harper Collins and Simon and Schuster. Brian is a graduate of Art Center College of Design and holds a B.F.A. in Illustration, with distinction.

Brian has been an art director at Big Fish Games in Seattle for over 10 years. For 6 of these years Brian co-created 5 original games including the Drawn trilogy: The Painted Tower, Dark Flight, and Trail of Shadows, as well as the heartwarming interactive adventure game, FETCH. Brian is currently the Senior Director of Art for SkyRocket within Big Fish.

Brian lives on Bainbridge Island, near Seattle with his wife Melinda and their two children. Melinda's delightfully soulful blog Eating Buckets is about their family's adventures in farming, cooking, and living.
